A species that moped around and cried all the time...
In 1952 the species had almost all died out
Only one Smiley remained...
So he made a wish....
that everytime a human smiled...
a new Smiley would be born.
Years went by and nobody ever smiled...
He was just about to give up hope....
When somebody finally smiled!
And a new Smiley was born!
Then another...
Then another... and another...
They began multiplying again!
People starting smiling and grinning like crazy!
All of the sudden, it had become cool to smile again!
Even Cheesy Smiles were acceptable!
Weirdo Smileys began to surface....
They began to fall in love...
And Kiss...
